Frequently Asked Questions
How much notice should I give when placing an order?
What you are renting will depend on how much time to allow. Larger orders will need to be placed at least a month in advance. Smaller orders, such as tables and chairs, can be placed closer to the event.
We suggest reserving for the maximum amount of guests, just to be assured of availability. As the event nears, the quantities can be adjusted to meet your final counts.
When will my rental items be delivered?
We will deliver the day before your event to provide you with enough time to decorate and prepare.
A 4-hour time range is required during our normal business hours, Monday - Saturday, 8 AM - 5 PM. Someone must be present to accept the items unless prior arrangements have been made. An additional fee will be charged for specific delivery times before or after our normal business hours.
Who is responsible for setting up linens and chair covers at the event facility?
Typically, you or the facility staff would be responsible for decorating for your event. Quality Rental would be delighted to assist with any set-up or decorating, for a service fee.
How would I go about renting the chocolate fountain?
Please check with your event facility regarding their specific regulations or even if they even allow the fountain to be used. If you are able to rent it, we ask that the individual that is going to be operating it to be available when he or she picks up the fountain or when it is delivered. One of our members will give you step-by-step instructions for the use of it. Upon returning, please clean the chocolate off with warm, soapy water and place back into the carrying case.
What do I need to do to rental equipment before returning it?
We ask you to just return the items (dinnerware, glassware, flatware, and serving pieces) food free by rinsing them in hot water and placing them back into the racks provided. All of these items have to go through a sterilization process. If items are returned with food still on them, a cleaning charge
will be applied.
When returning linens, be sure to shake them free of food and debris then place them in the mesh
bags provided. If linens are wet, please allow them to dry before placing in the bags. Mildew is not
covered in the damage waiver and a replacement fee will be charged.
If candles will be on table with our linens, we ask you to place something underneath them. The damage waiver does not cover wax dripped on our cloths and you will be charged a replacement fee.
What is the purpose of a security deposit?
A security deposit is a charge above the cost of the rental. We collect this in the event our items are missing upon return or pick-up. If all items are returned properly, this deposit will be refunded in full.
What is a damage waiver?
The Damage Waiver Charge (DWC) relieves the Renter of all liability for the items rented from: loss due to accidental damage, loss due to fire, collision*, windstorm, upset, riot, vandalism, and burglary (provided there is evidence of forced entry).
You are not covered for damages to our linens caused by mildew or candle wax. These ruin our cloths and a replacement fee will be charged.
Which style tent would work best for my event?
When deciding which tent will be the best option for your event, location is a key factor.
Is the tent going to be set-up on grass or asphalt? If it is going on asphalt, can we drill into the ground to place the stakes?
If so, then your options are unlimited. If not, then you are limited to a Frame Tent.
Frame Tents consist of a metal frame with a canvas cover. They can be secured by using water barrels. There are no center poles.
Setting up your tent on grass, has many options. You can either use the Frame Tent, Pole Tent, or a Century Tent. The Pole Tent is similar in shape to the Frame Tent, but with center poles.
The final option is a Century Tent, and like a Pole Tent, is secured by being staked into the ground. The Center Poles form peak which gives the look of a 'castle'.
Please contact one of event specialist to choose the perfect tent for you event.
What months are tents available for my event?
Our tent season spans from April to October. Prices will vary by season. We do not set-up tents November - March because the colder weather causes the tent canvases to crack.
Are sides available for tents?
Sides are available on all tents except Customer Canopies. They clip on the inside of the tent and hang freely. They can be easily removed or hung based on your needs based on your needs during the event.
What are my tent flooring options?
Flooring is availabe in two wood choices, Parquet Wood or Plain Wood. Your configurations can range from flooring the entire tent to a small portion, used for a dance floor. We have many types of lighting available to help create the perfect atmosphere for your event.
